Series 2a or 3?

if its your second car then it really doesnt matter which one.
as YD says, it all depends what the landy is for. i certainly woudnt want to drive 200 miles in a series, and esp not in an early one. the S3 is a bit more civilised, but not that much!

Good advice. Most of my journeys will be under half an hour, and i'm attracted by the "tax exempt" aspect :).

dont get too hung up on the tax exempt bit.
100 odd quid aint much in the grand scheme of things re owning a landy!

aye that may be true. but getting a shyte landy with a rusty bulkhead, no 2nd gear, crap brakes, and no 4wd, just cause its got free road tax aint very sensible.
