Hi all, i recently upgraded my wheels and tyres on my 90 and consequently have 5x original Boost alloys with standard General Grabber TRs attached sitting in the garage.

Now, reading around these forums i see that (apparently) lots of people are scared of fleaBay (ebay) because lots of stolen landy parts are sold there?
Additionally, with 'less than desirables' regularly perusing the ebay pages i'm slightly scared of some one tapping me up to learn where i live in order to steal my wheels/land rover/both (i might be paranoid from reading the sad stories in the 'stolen' forum, but i do come from a very **** area of the country and know what some of the scum out there are like....)

Anyway, my reason for posting is for direction to a good and SAFE means of selling these wheels where i will hopefully get a good price!

Also welcome to suggestions of what i should aim for pricewise- i was thinking £500-600 ideally (maybe i'm dreaming...)
(the 4 tyres have done just under 30k, and are around half worn, the spare is completely unused)

Yep you can get a new set for 600 quid with decent new set of tyres on them.

You'll be lucky to get half that.

That price was arrived at after looking at eBay last week!!!
ok.... i guess i can live in hope! £400 will be the best i can hope for then? :(
(i need to pay off the Zu's!)

but any tips for safe selling- ie sites?

The only thing you need to worry about woth ebay is that some arsehole will bid then not bother turning up to collect em. And yes you are dreaming if you think they're worth that much.
