Any help appreciated.
The Self Leveling Amber Light is on all the time and when I reach a speed of 20mph and over the audible alarm start going ON & OFF

I connect Nanno up and I have 2 fault codes, not sure if they are related.
1. Fault 01-08 ECU internal valve relay fault 001 times
2. Fault 04-02 DIRECTION CONTROL VALVE 2 CURRENT OUT OF RANGE

Thanks

This morning the self leveling light stayed on but with no audible alarm ?

Got home tonight and connected nano up and no alarms

went for a run and the alarm is still on with the audible alarm going off when I go over 20mph ?

Checked in slabs no fault codes.will see how it goes tomorrow

what is the Motronic Function

Sieafery thanks
I measured the wheel to the arch and they are different,on the Nanocom what should the height readings be ?
have you any instructions on how to calibrate ?

Thanks

The readings are not so important, they can be different while the vehicle is on even level, you have to go in the SLS calibration and store the heights when the vehicle is physically straight and you can achieve that with two jacks or by inflating/deflating the bags with nanocom with short bursts cos that's how it works

The nominal height from the hub centre to the wheel arch on an unladen vehicle on air springs is 473 mm +/- 15mm or 18.6 ins +/- 0.6 ins in old money.

Some members have tried to work out some corellation between the actual measurement and the figures shown on a code reader in the past. I think that some nice young men in white coats came and took them away in the end.

I have the Nano diagnostic tool, so once I have adjusted the height using the Nano tool what do I do then, on the Nano there is a page that says
Left Current Height 117
Right Current Height 114
UPDATE HEIGHT READINGS
Left Target Height Blank
Right Target Height Blank
STORE TARGET HEIGHTS

Thanks

You'd think BBS must know what the corelation is between the two values. I might drop a post on their forum and see what response I get.

I thought i told you... if with those readings the vehicle is on even level store them as target heights, if it's not on level bring it to level with two jacks or by inflating/deflating the bags with nanocom untill it's OK see the current heights then and set those readings as target heights even if the values are different... there are guides for each ECU on Nanocom site, download and read... that's how i learned to use nanocom
