sedimemter bypass wont fit?????

Hi, I've deicided to by pass my sedimenter and followed the many posts on the subject. However, they all mention using a 8 mm copper pipe between the two cut fuel lines secured with jubilee clips. Simples, except my fuel lines won't go near the copper pipe. How the Hell are you ment to get the fuel lines over 8mm pipe when they are 8mm themselves so now sitting with a cut fuel line , a copper pipe :'

i normally use 1/4 pipe

**Update** should have it sorted. I couldn't get 6 mm pipe but halfords do a 6mm hose connector for an obscene £2.49 . I'll try and do a how to incase someone else asks the same. But typically it's ****ing down now so watch this space.
