Hi All,
After last weeks MOT my Landy failed on corrosion around the seat belt anchor points. Below pictures show what I did to rectify it and it passed no problems afterwards. Basically welded a strip of right angled 3mm steel along the underside for strengthening ... you can just make it out on the pictures below the ally strip. The 4mm thick ally strip was also bent to the correct angle and bolted through both pieces. This then gave the necessary strength and mounting point to attach new 4mm ally seat belt mounting plates that are riveted through the seat box and door posts. I've photographed them before I Waxoyled the steel and painted the ally black to make it easier to see.
