Sorry to hear of your RR being stolen, I feel for you.
Maybe I'm missing something, but what leads you to believe the vehicle still exists & that there has been a change in both 'plates & colour :confused:

The police found it eventually, telling me it was my car but with a new plate and colour. The police asked me to go to see and identify it. I had already been paid out. The new owner had to buy it again from the insurance company. It's still showing on the MOT and tax check site but hasn't been taxed for years.

Cheers, at the time I preferred the payout as the RR had issues. After that I bought 1974 4 door (83 body swap) with a Rover P6 V8. Your 4 door looks smart.

I've had the RRC for 14 years; only 2 previous owners & 61K miles from new. The secret is regular rust-proofing; this was started by the previous owner who bought the car when it was only a year old. I've continued the regime since, with the treatment inspected annually.

When I get another RR, I'll do the same. They are so expensive now, and yours is likely to be worth more now than you paid originally. When I sold mine they were virtually worthless if they needed work.

Considerably, mind you the upkeep & rust prevention regimes aimed at keeping it original have not come cheap :(

A great looking RR that, very clean. I changed my Schuler to EFI grill, spoiler and bumpers. I kept the original parts in case I changed my mind later. Seeing your RR has made me even more keen to get another one sooner than later. Kidney For Sale. One not so careful owner from new
