I'm happy to take a scratchy group. As mine looks like it was painted with a yard brush it'll probably improve the finish

So which group is doing the gentler stuff? My paint is still relatively shiny and I might still be on road tyres... Trying to get hold of some muds though.

Plus I'll almost certainly have missus & kids as ballast... Wouldn't mind the occasional excursion onto the more tricky stuff though, gotta start learning somewhere!

boomers is the shiny group, but pikeys group will also not be damagin. Dunno about the others. eta... BB's group is scratchy.

Is there a common meet point to start with, or is that not decided yet?

Pikey's group sounds like my cup of tea, if there's room. I don't have any kind of protection underneath (so to speak) so don't want to get too scratchy or broken!!! Plus I think boomer's planned route gets pretty remote, doesn't it? Not so good with the little'uns on board.

my route will be fairly easy as lanes go, but cant gaurantee portaloos every 1/4 mile

i think every group needs a recovery kitted car just incase ?
