Sat Nav google?

Good morning everyone

Just been trying to find some information about the sat nav on my range rover sport 2012...

is there anyway i can load google maps on to this or any custom sat nav software?

the stock one i think is utter rubbish i can't even get speed limits.

came from scotland to manchester at the weekend stock one told me 4;20 hours and google told me 3:55.

The speed limits are posted on signs at the side of the road. Sit back relax and enjoy the scenery. If you slow down you may even be able to read the road signs.

Time calculations are always approximate and google takes realtime ttaffic and road conditions into account.

The stock unit will make averages based on historical data it has been programmed with. I think you may be assuming to much from a stock vehicle based unit, if you would want precision to the minute/second ETAs then you would need to ask the MoD for access to their GPS network

I do feel your pain. Everytime I borrow my dads L322 the Satnav is just dire, once suggested I make a u turn on the M40. I always take my TomTom now

is there away of getting my phones google maps on to the screen? also what about in control is there away of installing this or are we talking stupid?
