Mrs B bought me a Garmin Nuvi 3760T for Xmas, really pleased with the features.

It is however expandable and with a suitable cable interface plugged into the OBD port it allegedly can provide all sorts of information. Here's what Garmin say about it:

ecoRoute

The interface is about £99 or a few pound less on the Bay, but does anyone have any experience of this add on in use? It does seem like knobs and buttons that are not really needed, but perhaps someone knows more?

Thanks folks.

sounds a pretty good piece of kit, you can never have too many gauges or dials.

You may not get every bit of information they claim you can get, depends on what is available via your OBDII socket, some of the info may only be available with landrover software.

however, for £100, I might be tempted to have a punt.

Think you might be right, though everywhere bar eBay seemingly either out of, or waiting for first, stock of the interface at present.

A few added dials might not go amiss.

Should work and show full dials on any petrol from 2001 and any diesel from 2004... this was when OBDII became mandatory in europe. wouldnt think it would work anythin before then.
