Hi guys, yep I'm back, had to buy another one ......... what's up with prices, they are through the roof ..... 2008 TDV8 3.6 , FSH (LR) 107K , anyway, here we go:

Sat Nav is lost, don't know where it is. Tried to recalibrate as per manual, No Go.
Upgraded with New disc , Same. Everything else on unit works fine, suggests Satellite receiver on roof, does that sound right to you guys ?
Would this also explain why my Samsung phone won't connect via Bluetooth? I know when they came out only limited phones would work, it surly this day and age ....... !
Please advise, and is it a big job ?
Oh yep, slight rust bottom of tailgate, water runs out when I open it. Rubber grommet on leading top edge where electrics go through ?
Lol ...... apart from that, RR is like new, cream leather like brand new, apart from drivers seat, never been sat in. Sorry, sounds a lot, but I waffle.

Must admit not checked, last one did, but this one is much newer and quick inspection of there came up much better. Dread to think it could be there again

Agreed ....... what unit could it be then do you think ? Just would think if but that bad, all would be out, Thanks for reply, appreciate it very much.

Phone and satnav are 2 separate units, and yes I believe they work better with the older phones.
Have a look here as this maybe your issue also https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/sat-nav-issue.370951/#post-5158146.
Maybe worth a chat with this guy for an upgraded bluetooth module http://bluetoothexchange.co.uk/
Does your phone see the Bluetooth module?

Thanks you reply. NO my Samsung phone Does Not find the RR when doing a Bluetooth search.
The picture you put up IS spot on with my setup, minus blue waterproof.

You may have a faulty phone module, they are known to get wet and the pins on the plug go green.
One of the pins on mine rusted through so I moved one of the unused pins over to replace it but it still don't work. I can pair to it but there is no speech so I just use a bluetooth headset instead.
Besides I don't want my conversation being blasted out over a 820watt stereo.

P.S. The blue waterproof is just a heavy duty rubble sack.:D
