hi

looking for some advice on buying and fitting a sailsbury rear axel with disc brakes to my discovery 1
What year of defender 110 do i need to be looking at and how late did thay fit them to the defender?
Do i need a sailsbury front axel or should i go for a better front half shaft?

thanks for any help you can give
cheers neil

Why go to all that hassle? The rover axle's well strong enough especially with the 24 spline diff. Plus it's easier to fix if it does break or wear out. I'm seriously considering replacing the salisbury on my 110 with a rover axle when I get the rebuild underway.

it may be easier to keep the the LR axel but i am on my 3rd axel when the diff lets go it comes stright out of the back
i have never come across anyone braking a sailsbury axel

Hi I have a p38 range rover 2.5 DSE and I am in need of a front diff, both half shafts and a front prop what options do I have?
Can I fit any p38 diff i.e. of a 2.5 4.0 or 4.6 assuming all the parts came of the same vehicle and or the front and rear diff interchangeable assuming the splines or the same
Many thanks neil

diffs will fit front to back etc ,but crown wheels are handed so that they run on same side of teeth unlike in disco or defender where the same crown wheels are used front and back
