Safari Snorkel problem

Anyone know a mod to connect airbox to safari snorkel on a 1996 300tdi (non abs) auto ?

The airflow sensor gets in the way of the supplied duct.( which I have ordered)

I understand that the abs version would fit, but the snorkel has already been fitted. ( Non abs version snorkel which is shorter on the wing )

Would a flexible hose do the job?

The place where I bought the Discovery are being less than helpful, and actually supplied the vehicle with new snorkel, not connected to the airbox!! un- believable!


I should have checked it out, but they are a well know landrover specialist and I trusted their reputation!! Never again!

Any advice gratefully received

pics would be helpfull, most probs a bit of modifying and a flexi hose needed

yep i know the feeling

also as mine is the 3.5 v8 with the bogroll shaped filter i had to modify a snorkel meant for the 3.9 (square airbox) to fit mine
