Please Help.
I have a series 1 Discovery 300tdi. The vehicle has done 156000km of mostly gentle tar driving...mom's taxi.
The vehicle has just had the clutch replaced. However when the vehicle is allowed to freewheel backwards in neutral there is a "shudder" coming through the vehicle as if something is "grabbing" the prop-shaft.
When the vehicle is allowed to free-wheel to a stop when moving forward the same sensation can be felt, but not nearly as violently.
Can anybody give me a clue as to where to start looking for the problem, as i am at a loss.
regards,
