Right so I'm cracking along nicely with my freelander fitting it up with lights, question is where can I run cables from the engine bay into the dash, there is a grommet on the passenger side bit I have had a go at pulling it off with mo success. This is the one I mean....

Has anyone run any extra cables into there car from the engine bay and if so how and where did they do it? Cheers!

on the top of that grommet, and underneath it I think, are two nipples formed into the rubber. just cut the end of the nipple and push a wire coat hanger through. If you use a whole coat hanger, and straighten it out, when you have about 2 inches in the engine bay, it should be well in the passenger footwell.

just wired my foglights up (genuine LR), and this is the method shown in the fitting instructions.

don't forget to tape cables on to coathanger BEFORE feeding into grommet as you won't have enough room to do it once it's pushed through.

good luck
