ey up,

do many of you here do much in the way of RTV trials? i went to watch some today and it looked like good fun with no damage being incurred.

i learnt the basics off the marshals, do's and donts.

does anyone know the classes? and how much im looking at spending on entry?

ive got mud terrains, recovery points. im a little worried my 2.5 n/a and non PAS will let me down :(

what ya'll think?

I've done a bit last year, and plan on doing some more this year. 2.5 N/A should be OK, but you have to be a really good driver to get through without PAS (forearms like Popeye) ;)

Really heavy terrain you will struggle a bit with an NA, but I've seen TVR engined vehicles get stuck...

point taken take5... not exactly popeye, more like Mr. muscle without the glasses!

as for really good driver... dorris says NO!

i think im going to rely on my 265/75 grizzly claws run on lower pressure. those V8 boys jut give it the beans and prey for traction.

might give it a go this year. very nervous though!

When I got my V8 last January, took it out to Langdale a couple of times, then my mate said to me "we're going trialling, haven't done any for a couple of years". Straight in at the deep end  Was extremely nervous first time out, but really anjoyed it. The hardest part is keeping your concentration over the last few sections - next time I will be bringing the Red Bull to help out ;)
