L322 RSE/Rear Seat Entertainment screen issue

Hello all, been playing around with all the functions on my ‘new’ (56) pride and joy (in profile pic). There’s a lot to go wrong, isn’t there? I’ve come across a strange problem which I can’t find anywhere else on the forum:

First world problems, I know, but the RSE screens in the headrests are displaying all white or pink pixelated screens. See photos for examples. The TV tuner is working up front, the DVD player is working too. And the headphones are working so I can listen to the DVD or TV station that’s playing…you just can’t see any picture. And the remote seems to be working too. It changed through the modes (I can hear that via the headphones) and switches both rear screens on an off.

Any tips?! I know even less about electrics than I do about mechanics. This is what happens when a carpenter buys a 15 year old Rangie!

I don't have a foggy clue but my first bet would be a dodgy connection between front and rear if you can see a picture up front

The connection goes from the rear left panel to the front screen then back to the rear screens does it? So that wiring would be in that daunting bundle under the front seats?!
