L322 Cost of a new RR Autobiography 5L in 2010 and options

I am in the proces of (hopefully) purchasing my first Range Rover, a 2010 5L Autobiography. I was wondering what the base price of the car would have been when it was first registered in March 2010, and what were the cost of the various options. As far as I can tell, the following were available as optional features:

-Adaptive cruise control
-Vision Assist pack (Blind Spot Monitor, Surround Camera System & automatic headlamps with high beam assist)
-Automatic 4 zone air conditioning
-Seat Pack ‘Style 3’ Rear Seat Recline, Passenger Memory, Lumbar Support, Heated/cooled seats and Winged Headrests
-Audio System - LOGIC7® Hi-Fi (1200 Watt 19 speakers surround sound harman/kardon® system)
-Rear Screen Entertainment Pack (includes DVD player, headphones, remote control, only with LOGIC7®)

Does anyone know?

No idea what it cost in 2010 or the options but there are sites, that Google will find for you, with that information.
The big answer is , (if you're trying to compare cost then to cost now), it has absolutely no bearing on what it costs now. As in zilch, zero, nada. The same for trim. Whatever extras someone paid thousands of pounds for in 2010 makes, maybe, a few pounds difference in cost now.

So true. The Autobiography 5.0L was knocking on £110,000 in 2010.
You can now pick them up for a 10th of that price, condition, maintenance and mileage being more important than what toys it has.

What new owners seem to forget, or not realise, that a £110,000 new price vehicle has maintenance and repair costs of a £110,000 vehicle, even when it's 10 years old, and only worth a 10th of its new price. Actually they get more expensive as they age, which is why they loose 90% of their value in a decade.

In this respect, a 10 year old Freelander 2 makes more financial sense, as it holds more of its value after a decade, and is much cheaper to maintain.

But who wants to drive around with a balaclava on?? And they usually stink of hair laquer and perm solutions. :p:D
 
Your only concern should be that a vehicle that cost £100,000 new has the maintenance fees of a vehicle of that expense, but now ten years down the line.

With RRs constant maintenance with little issues that creep up is usual. If you don’t address the issues soon they become huge problems, often it gets to the point people (main dealers the lot) aren’t able to diagnose an issue effectively can cost 1000s with no result. This is why getting diagnostics equipment is so important to know what you are getting into when the guy selling is adamant it is flawless.
Keep money back for the day it goes tits up or be prepared to part with it at a loss. Or stay here and go with the madness but don’t say we didn’t warn you :)

Or burn it, is always an option
 
Just to balance this out - I'm also looking, tentatively for a 2011 tdv8 4.4 autobiography. I'm well aware what I'm getting in to however, I'm going one step forward and planning to use it for trips to Spain and back :D:confused:
