RR - tread warily or go for it?

One salesman who's name was on the auto-replay email, wasn't in - he was out buying cars, to sell presumably. The other admitted to being snowed under and 'the place has been mental the last week' and I totally understand that. I'm going to meet him first on Thursday, or earlier if I can get away. A bit of hands-up works wonders with me.

A face to face to establish your intent will always be the way to proceed,
tbh, expecting anyone to answer emails in hours is a big ask, let alone out of hours.....

You are quite right - I'm going along to meet Paul who just put his hands up and said i'm overwhelmed and I'm sorry. I believe him - been there as probably everyone else has on the LZ. And actually, I think all along his motor was always the front runner in my mind and having spoken to him I'm looking forward to the face-to-face. I'll let y'all know how the bank balance gets depleted.
By the way lz, I'm starting to sign off with my name - never been one for hiding away. Lots of you know each other I guess so hope you don't mind if I get a bit personal. I'm not intruding - just opening up a wee bit.

I've been lucky in that department all my life.

The problem with 'Colin' is that every time a TV producer wants a d....head actor - the taxi driver who's always getting lost etc - they call him Colin.
You get lines in books saying 'She would love to be going home with Julian, but she just knows she'll end up with Colin'. Grrrr.
When I was in France it was worse - the literal translation is a fish 'Hake'. What do you prefer - Hake or Colin? One's a cowboy the other's a cabbie!

hi colin be very wary of our "tomcat alan " hes a plastic scouser & will have you down to aldi as fast as a p38, straight to the whisky ailse ,thenn suddenly disappear to the sunny mediteranean ????????? , I really endorse "your" story colin and wish you both so much heartfelt respect and best wishes in your forthcoming adventure in your rangerover task ,,,,,, all the best Mozz ....oh & a big hello to tomcat ,,, x

Thank you JohnM70 and all the folk who run LZ and all who posted and actually lifted spirits all round.(I might lift spirits later......in a glass, but I digress)
I was in a darkish place for most of the last few months trying to get used to the inevitable and then the idea of the RR came and began to grow and she liked it and then all these zoners joined in. Now I know how good it's been for me and some who were also in a similar place and I feel there's a life - or two - to be led. It's been better than any hospital chat or visit to the GP in the last twelve months. Ta everyone. Hope I can do the something for some of you sometime. What a 'family'.

Hi Moz, you've been quiet lately. Bit off on your geography , Fuerteventura is in the Atlantic Ocean, about 50 miles off the coast of Africa. . It's not the name that matters it's the person behind it Colin. don't let Mozz anywhere near Thirsk otherwise there will be a CAKE famine in Yorkshire he's the original cake munching Manc.

Have ye not found a way in yet? Just been looking at warranty possibilities - the Warrantywise with Quentin Wilson seems to be popular. I'll also talk to the dealer when I see him but I guess he's also on commission from someone or other.
