Nah, I bought one off someone on here a week or so ago. Looks just like the one for sale on first post of this thread. I paid £85 for it. Is this a coincidence or what!mmm... Gone all quiet now, me thinks glee must be showing on catch up tv.
Anyway I've got a roveron tuning box i'm willing to sell and ship to spain if anyone is intrested................anyone!

The breakdown would have only come from you lot making light of the post. Something that was none of your business. I will be calm when I have my Tuning box. Greenie is actually saving you money......hes adding to the longevity of your injectors and high pressure fuel pump by keeping you waiting for it........if you wait long enough it'll have paid for it's self by not having to replace any of them in the near future.

The TD4 makes more power in the both the MGZT and the 320D so hardly. BMW sold a down tuned version to the then Rover Group.Think on the upside of things

Fair enough......., wait and see. If youv'e got an injector thats borderline putting this unit on will show it up if you crank it up past position 5.
I had one on mine from new, went through six injectors and a high pressure fuel pump with it on, hence why i always carry 2 spare injectors in me boot.
After taking it off nothing has gone wrong on the fuel side....that said it may of been just my motor and the unit does add loads of extra grunt.

so if it makes more power in the ZT............ how did bmw sell as downtuned version to them................. i'm pretty sure MG have been part of rover group since rover groups formation and even before as part of BL and austin rover

The td4/m47 was a good unit in the bmw 320d, as standard I think it was about 150 bhpish then they let landrover get hold of it and restricted the breathing side for emissions or just to screw it up cos they could.
to get the most out of the engine as designed is'nt possible through erg / remap/ turbo etc mods as far as I know without stressing some part of the engine that goes beyond original spec..you can get the extra power but somthing willl suffer down the line ...........eventually

What? Have you ever sent anything to Spain? I had a heavy Haynes book sent the other day and it was £2.47 to send via the post office. The Tuning box is very light so fiver tops. Please contain your epic fail.
MG changed the setting on the ECU for the ZT+ themselves. As is the norm in modern engine tuning. The ZT before that had about the same power as the Freelander TD4. 110 for the Freelander 115 for the ZT. ZT+ was then remapped for another 15 bhp. So some of that power (say 15bhp) can be got back reliably with one of the lower settings on the box. Any higher and then yes as with all tuning things will start to fail.
