i am thinking of fitting a synergy 2 to my td4. my question is has anyone fitted it them selves is it easy to fit. was it really worth it.did you tell your insurance company and if so did it put your insurance up by much

only ever seen good comments bout Rover Ron stuff on ear.

I found my Synergy to be a piece of cake to fit (takes about 10 minutes altho' if you're getting the dash mount switch, routing the cable can be a pain....).
It works really well and makes my own TD4 a much more 'driveable' vehicle in terms of engine responsiveness.
I'm insured with the RAC and they did not change my premium when I told them of the mods to the car.

fitted a mafam box on mine from roveron, dicided to try the cheap option first. what diference!! nice an smooth grunt all thru the gears, very driveable ... have'nt told insurance yet!....
