Rover 75 seats?

Id like to fit rx8 seats but none over here and p&p from uk would work out a lot so i wondered if anyone had fitted The 75 seats.Plenty of them over here but do they fit, are they low enough?

Just done a search and it seems it can be done but it seems you have to slide the seat right off to get to battery.

Interesting, from my memory of rover 75's (stepdads old company car) I would have thought that the seat bases are to thick. I tried some Impreza seats in mine and it was like trying to climb into a monster truck and mine is unlifted, fortunately I only paid 99p for them off ebay

Have you tried refurbishing the existing seats? Mine were transformed by replacing the inner foams with ones that weren't broken down and lumpy. Now they're quite supportive and comfortable. Keeps things original and no messing about trying to access the battery.

That is the other option. I did this to the seats in my black 110 and they came up great but i just fancied the idea of "cheapish" heated seats

I went for the refurb option, using an Exmoor kit, but added their heating pad system. Of the 'luxuries' that a Defender is missing, at least heated seats are more practical than stylish!

just looked at the exmoor retrim kits expecting them to be expensive but unless im reading it wrong, works out cheaper than paddocks plus they do the heatpad kits.

I'm surprised you can't find RX8 seats in the republic. Always plenty available up here in the North.

Went to the local breakers for a bit for my old Ford Cougar and see a Alfa Romeo T Spark, yep car was smashed to pcs
but all the glass was intact and the leather seats were perfect....took a day to install but comfy !!!
