Rotor Filter.

What is it and where is it ?

The oil centrifuge filter is on the left hand side of the block quite low down, but can be seen from above. It has a domed cover with two retaining bolts. Inside is a short domeshaped filter on a spindle.

I believe it does what the name suggests - ie spins to get rid of crap in our oil by centrifugal force.

I only know this because I changed mine yesterday..

Cheers got one here in a box waiting to go on, along with a nice new K&N Airfilter.
