I'm just replacing the UJ's and need to rotate the shaft (front).

It mentions raising 1 road wheel in the manual but I'm clearly not understanding it fully.

Can someone explain?

If you lift one wheel and turn it that will turn the diff flange so you can line up the prop shaft.

If you're asking a question like that, you need to step away from the propshaft!

I want to rotate the prop shaft to access all bolts to make it easier to remove it.......

Ok lift one wheel and put a bar on a wheel nut you will need some force to turn prop. The bolts are 9/16 UNF. You should be able to remove it without turning prop with a couple of good 9/16 combination spanners on the nuts you can't get a socket on.

Of course you could chock wheels and lift one side of car. That way it will turn easier. Hand brake off of course.

if you have some flat level ground and a good wheel chock put car in nutral with hand brake off undo one bolt and push car forward with the wheel and then chock the wheel to stop it moving then repeat for rest of bolts

Sorry to pick up a 6 year old thread! But it made me laugh. Last time I replaced a front prop on a Disco I got my wife to drive the car while I was underneath to check when the bolts were more accesible. I said to her 'move very slowly and I'll shout stop'. She gunned the engine and shot forward - scariest moment of my life! She couldn't hear me shouting 'stop, stop for fox sake stop!!!', above the engine noise. It worked though. Didn't have the heart to tell her that I'd cancelled my life insurance!:violent:
