I will upload to my rapidshare account for you....

It covers from about 1984 to 1996, in various parts...

Once you unzip, find the file called Index, this opens up a flash player screen, and you can select from parts lists, Original Publications (Workshop Manuals, Electrical Manuals etc) Handbooks etc....

Doesn't cover every year between 1984 and 1996 but a majority....can't access Rapid Share at work due to firewall restrictions, but I will see what I can do from here, if not I will upload this evening and let you know!

Have you actually removed the coupler and looked at it? the failure is normally the ribbon cable snapping by the connectors. A repair is possible if you are able to join/splice ribbon cable. A word of caution though, you have to disassemble the coupler to look properly and if I remember well it was right fiddly to put back together!

Hi, yes the old coupler was in a mess, but a spare from ebay tested ok with a meter and also once installed using the Rave test. Learning more on how the system works I have worked out that the application of the brakes or the car being in neutral or park break an earth link to pin 3 of the ecu telling it to disengage. As my car thinks its in neutral all the time ( new start/inhibit switch to be fitted ) I was confident I had found the fault so put a temp earth to pin 3, went for a test run but no joy. I have now gone through every single item & every test so the only thing left is the ECU which I am going to have to source or repair. Hella 5GA 004 872-04.

2nd hand ECU arrived, plugged it in and works a treat ( I wired in a temp earth to pin 3 as the neutral lock/start inhibitor switch is faulty ) I am absolutely delighted as its always a risk 2nd hand and also pleased that I now know exactly how the system works. Now to get this ABS sorted. Thanks for all the advice.

Well Done Chap...

Glad to hear another resolve
