Hello, I recently purchased a 2004, Freelander TD4. Lovely black paint but 1/2 faded door moldings are letting the side down. Want to get them looking good again so will cut, prime, paint and finish with clear but would like advice on what type of spray paint to use...

Also, on the test drive, we ran out of fuel! It was topped up thanks to a call to the seller's wife who arrived with a couple of litres in a plastic can and we were on our way again. However, I reckon a bit of nasty stuff was sucked in so wondered if I should change filter (it seems to be running fine though).

Lastly, (sorry!) my "headlights on" chime has stopped working. It was fine but now isn't working. I looked at the fuse guide in the vehicle but it didn't help. Any ideas?

Many thanks for your help!

Cheers!

Best to give it a full service, painting plastic you need to add a polymer to keep it flexible, chime probably linked to faulty door switch , and go and introduce yourself or they'll be trouble!
