I have searched the forum, an Internet, and I still can't find anyone talking about where they route the wires for roof mounted spotlights. So for anyone using roof mounted spots, where do you route the wires? I'm happy with the circuit, just not sure about where to run them.

Thanks for the exhaust idea, I think that's the 1 I'm going for!!!

Seriously tho, I would rather not drill a hole in the roof, and I'm worried that if I run the wires through the door seal or sunroof seal, they may leak.

My wiring comes out a drilled hole in the sloping side of the roof above the drain gutter. With a grommet so no rain can enter (although as its a land rover this is a futile attempt)...and then runs along lightbar with tie-wraps...looks fine..but be aware that roof lights light up the cab like Hiroshima...i see further with dipped beams...really only good off road, low speed...or for blinding tits with fog lights on all year.

because Michael this section is for ANSWERS to common faults and questions - not for asking those questions
secondly if you think yours is a common fault or question, did you search before asking?

Thanks for pointing out a useless point. Why have a section called "common faults and questions" if you can't ask a ****ing question???? **** I done it again!

Thanks for those who did reply, I think the door pillar will be the route I take.

because it's to cover the subjects that every noobie asks instead of searching. It was hoped that they might look in here to see if their problem was a common one IF it is the solution would be in here. But unfortunately Thick stupid cuunts like you have filled it with pointless fooking posts and now it's so cluttered no fooker can find anything

****er!!

Did you not read my first post properly? Yes I did search the forum, and the web. If I found an answer to my question, would I still have asked on here..???......NO!

why dint yu ask in the disco or defender forums, rather than the FAQ section, ya dumb bastard - or cant you read the instructions from the forum Mods?

Or do we have to change the way the forum is run to suit you?
