Personaly i think HANS should be like helmets a MUST, yes they are £££ but surely one less neck/ spine / head injury justifies them !!

I think the competitors are pretty much against it but it will come one day not sure when but im sure it will come.

I know the ammount of people that got upset when they tried to bring in stricter regs for Team recovery Helmets twas uproar

A HANS isn't really useful at 20/30 mph. Of course they help but not significantly. They would only be the difference between getting whiplash or not.

Technically I thihnk the max speed in comp safari is 70MPH and average is supposed to be around 30 or 40 Need to read more TBH but if a course is set out right then there should be no need for HANS however there is always the argument for them.
