right folks in the next few week i am looking to get mi sen a defender 90 and i dont wana get mi eye balls skanked out so how can i check that it is not a ringer or been stolen
 
buy one from here from a well endowed member is best.you will have to travel but its allways worth it.
how can you be sure, or is it that theiving scum dont use computers or perhaps they pose on forums like this to get info on where abouts peeps motors are, security arrangements etc, BoB i dont know you any better than anyone else on here as its all in the ether of the www these days and i adopt the view that everyone out there is about to scam me unless proved otherwise
 
HPI check will protect you from most issues, and of course check as far as possible that vin numbers etc match. It's what I did when I brought my D2 and it came back with outstanding finance, luckily it turned out to be an error by the finance company.
