When I bought my 90 it'd already been lifted, it's a PITA to get in and out so I want it back to standard

What's the best way of going about it

Standard suspension, secondhand from somebody who's lifted theirs or new upgraded

I've spent a bloody fortune on it so I want to do it as cheap as possible, I don't have any of the required tools to do it myself so it'll have to go to my mechanic so there'll be a few quid there as it is

Any suggestions, mick taking etc

Standard springs and shocks are not very expensive if that's all that's been changed

Maybe someone wants to swap you and do the swap together helping each other?

It had 265/70 MTs on it which I've changed for smaller ATs so it just doesn't look right now, that's another reason I want it lowering

Spoke to a mechanic today, he said 2-4 hours labour per corner, does that sound about right, 2 hours is about what I was expecting, 4 hours is too much Money

You say you don't have the tools which I take to mean you have NO tools?
All you need is a jack, axle stands, spanners & a socket set.

About 1-hour per corner DIY if you are talking just springs & shocks and not radius arms, that is doing it correctly by supporting the chassis etc.
Standard springs & shocks are cheap enough brand new so unless your parts are completely shot you will probably get most of your money back by selling the taller units.

too much. im a complete mechanic noob and could do the rear in about 1 hour each. not done the fronts :)

i think a garage could do all four corners in 4 hours easy.

Rears are 20 minutes a side front allow 1.5 hours so no more than 2 hours all in.

Might have to factor in new top shock mounts sometimes they seize and break off they are cheapies anyhow but will add to the time taken

Did mention turrets???

Thought not.

Rear top shock mounts the nuts sometimes break unlikely because someone has already fitted noo suspension but old 15 year old never serviced motors the top shock mount strips the threads or snaps off cometly.
