Hello All,

I have a rather annoying fault with my reverse lights.

When I first start the freelander and put it in reverse I notice the lights are not working, however by the time I get to work and reverse in to a parking bay they work fine.

Also since noticing this fault during my journey to work, sometimes the tail gate window lowers all the way and will refuse to go up with the console switch, again by the time I get to work I can raise it fine.

sounds like a possible bad connection , either on the loom or an earth

maybe where they plug together behind the back side panels

assume everything else works , so i would check out the looms at the rear of the hippo , if that's what's only being affected

maybe someone else has had this problem
