Hi,
I am new to the forum and after having 5 previous old land rovers, 1 Disco, 2 Series and 2 90s etc. I have just bought a pretty new one so before I go and blow something up on it I thought I would ask first instead of just changing wiring and seeing what happened as I normally do.
I am about to install a reversing camera this weekend and will be mounting the camera over the tow bar bracket of my pick up. The wireless camera power wires needs crimping onto the live and neutral of the reversing lamp which is conveniently exposed behind the rear wing. With just two wires going to the lamp White or Light grey and Black.
Safe bet black is earth so I just crimp camera wire Red to White and Black to Black don't I?
Has anyone done this before to advise of any potential issues please?
I am informed that on some diesels there may be interference to the remote display in the cab. Again anyone with any experience please?
