Can I gauge the opinion of people who have done this before.
Basically, mine is shot, and I really should have fixed it before now.
I was just wondering if I were to buy a new one off the shelf, will the 4 valves all be in the right order to just do a straight swap over? Are they threaded or do the fuel lines just 'push' onto the copper/brass valves. Thanks

when you get it just undo the 4 connectors and check the the rear outer one has air bleed valve and front inside one should have oneway valve if fitted the other 2 nothing, the pipes pull off once the 2 tabs are squeezed, some have rubber covers that can be pulled out of the way

Thanks mate, if it's not to much trouble, could you put your descriptions to the 4 numbers on this picture?
Much appreciated.

Hi bud, when I did mine I labeled the existing pipes where they connected, then did the same on the new.....easy squeeze and push fit, couldn't of been easier (and I am prone to panic!!) :) good luck mate

Thanks very much guys. I'll price the part at the local dealer, but will probably end up getting it from pad/crad for about the £100 mark.

I bought a solid one off ebay this week. I really would recommend it.
it's machined from solid and doesn't look like it's going to fall off anytime soon unlike the original.

I'm not good with computers but the eBay auction number was

111919784796

Yeah I have seen that one, how was it to install? I take it you just used the existing vales from the old mount?
You'd think that someone would make a cheap fix for the existing part, considering it's only a forged piece of metal. That said, there's very litle room on the housing to drill new mounting holes into.

Those Ebay ones look very solid. Shame the listing seems to have ended. Mine's only just over a year old so I don't need another just yet. But it seems like it is an item that wears out, so I hope he's still doing them in a few years when I need another.

The chap has another listing on ebay again.
I called my local dealer for the part to see how much more they charge versus aftermarket supplier. £299 plus VAT:eek:

I've got the guys email and he seems a decent bloke.
it's very solid, I just removed the connections from my existing one and fitted them in this.

it's such a nice bit of kit it's a shame it's hidden away
