P38A Replacement speakers for BASS unit in the boot.

I think mine looks like this one on eBay with screws, but was not in that sorry state !
Definitely did not have any issues replacing the speakers with standard 6.5" units.

So are mine but mine's the Harmon Karmon system.;) think I had to split the box and unscrew the speakers from inside
Mine is also HK (according to the tweeter badges) on the doors.
I may have "screwed the pooch" by bending the feckers to try and get them out of the enclosure then) :( $hit-buggre-ar$holes-tit-fart-w@nk!
 
It's hidden in the Chassis & Body section in RAVE. P959 in Workshop Manual 2000.

i.e. remove the trim panel complete with Sub, and then separate them.

TA! I can see the 2 top fixings, its the bottom one that was hidden from me. :(
I am really not keen on pulling all this apart, but it seems it must be done in order to get it all "sound" [pun] again. :rolleyes:
I love the car, it's just such a POS in some respects. Mechanically fine but anything made of rubber is falling to bits. :(
