Replacement door handle covers

Hi,

Can the outer surface of L322 door handles be replaced or does the whole handle unit need to be replaced?

I scratched the driver's door handle of my '08 L322 on a pillar when parking yesterday and am wondering what it's going to cost me...

The photo shows a scratch all along the lower edge of the handle (it's a LHD).

look for smart cosmetic vehicle repairs as a possibility?

Go on eBay the sell plastic clip over covers for about £55 that may be a quick fix.
