Removing body panels

Hi
Im looking for but help again,I am looking to repaint my chassis I need to remove the body to get to the top of chasis is this an easy job for one person on there own?i would leave the bulk head as I'm crap when it comes to any think electrical, is there a order to removing the panels.also Is there any difficulties any body has found when removing the body work?i don't own a Haynes manual is it worth getting one?
