According to the DVLA website and leaflets, there are no new-style plates beginning with J. However some do exist (eg JM02 CAB seen today) - anyone know why? (Sorry not specifically a Disco topic but I know some of you people know many things...)

Perhaps the DVLA have just allocated a new area the didn't exist before and now is repesented by J and they have not got around to up dating their info.

Thanks for the thought, but I've seen a couple in the past, and the one I saw today (on a taxi) appears to be an 02, although as it was personalised (CAB geddit?) it could have been put on that car anytime. I wondered Jersey?
