plenty of time over xmas to get that sorted, better than watching the sound of muzac again

nope i work on a farm.. we dont have "time" over christmas.. thats why im going for a recon as it will be quick. well a day at most!

right i am going to go with an engine from withams! is it difficult to fit the 12v alternator to a 24v engine? and as the engine has an oil cooler and i dont have the oil rad can i just put a bit of pipe going from the out to the in on the pump outlets?

send paulhumphries a msg he had a 5 bearing engine up for £100 the other day on here, was very tempted myself but have too much to do at the momment.

The correct oil cooler set up has the pressure release valve in the pipework rather than the oil pump. There are probably people around on this site who cab tell you if you need to do something about that, and how easy it is.
