few bits of old tools in a box will get you started :D, then keep buying more , when you spend more on tools than yer mortgage your doin it right ;)

very handy sykes pickervent pipe flair kit

few old boxs of ****e , snapon impact guns , oxy acet and plasma cutter fer occward jobs,

other bits i use a lot, harrison lathe, radial driller, power hacksaw and me 50tonne press ;)

I'm like you buy the tools but never loan them out. i still have tools i bought as a teenager mostly snap on some britool. I also have a Harrison lathe and milling machine. They both sit there from year to year doing nothing. But when you need to make a part and it is Sunday. It makes it all worth while.:)

I bought a set of these Irwin Bolt grips a few months ago, wish I'd had them for years, so handy for those knurled/rusted bolts etc.

yup , i have a set of them , brilliant, i have the irwin and the snapon blue point version , both very good tools, they removed my rounded exhaust studds and my brake nuts a piece if ****,

I got my brother a set of finger spanners - where it like a ring and the socket grips the nut. Brillant for those hard to reachareas where you can't use 2 fingers. Just wish I got a set for myself
