I've successfully used various classic specialists for cars n the past but now need to find insurance for a modern (2014) Range Rover so more of a normal policy with normal miles and so on. Anyone got any recommendations on who's good in this market? Thanks.

Quite a subjective question really. Everybody will have their own preference, and the old adage of You get what you pay for comes in to play. Any insurer can provide a cheap premium, but when it comes to a claim, you might wish you'd gone with a different company.

Have you tried us for insurance yet? If not feel free to drop me a line and I'd be happy to arrange a quotation for you.

+1! The real test of any insurance Co is what happens when you claim. Ive been with Aviva for a while, so far so good!
Their breakdown cover was with the RAC, worked great when I needed them last year, my old Porker was with them, claimed once when I got rear ended, all went very smoothly.
I can also def recommend avoiding Hastings Direct, they cancelled a mates poilcy a few years ago, didnt tell him, ANPR nabbed him cost £1000+ (he decided, on the advice of the traffic officer, to challenge it) ,6 points and 2 years of loaded premiums.
