According to my test report I have to change my nearside rear "axle & wishbone bushes".

According to my trusty Haynes these look easy but experience has taught me that nothing is easy with a Freelander. So any tips ?.

Do they come individually or in a set per wheel ?. Is it likely that all will of gone & is it 6 in total ?

Thanks

Good question. The NCT (our MOT) report says "axle & wishbone bushes" so it could mean some of them or all of them. My interpretation of "wishbone" bushes would be the suspension links. It says that the vehicle will need a repeat of the Side Slip Test.

Your NCT guy could have been a bit more helpful in telling you the problem a bit more accurately. It could be the rear suspension bushes, or it could be the differential bushes. I'd go back to him and find out which he means before replacing them sure.

Well as said, yer need to find out. . . .if its the the rear diff bushes youve three on td4 centre [reet bastid to do [subframe drop reccomend garage less yer good wiff motors] :):):):) rh and lh can be done by a compitent diy'er . . . . . . .um centre one normaly go's first:) :) :) best oh luck Earthling
