Rear Seat Stuck Upright

My rear seat is stuck in the upright position, Anyone else had this? I pull the plastic lever on the rear of it and nothing.. Just stuck upright.

I used it the other day and it was fine.. Now stuck?

Any help please...

The double seat on mine was jammed in the folded position after I removed the dogs cage.take the black plastic cover off on the side corner at the bottom it just screws of allowing you to get to the mechanism(3 screws on mine)then try spraying it with wd40 and if this doesn't release it get a hammer and a flat head screw driver and bray the life out of it!once youve worked out what to hit that is.that's how I solved mine,twice in a matter of weeks now so it just stays upright from now on,and dog on chain in boot.sorted!

O.k, Mine is stuck upright... So no need to do that.. I could just leave it - but it worked yesterday..???

Mine stuck upright, the release cable came adrift in the seat back cos the handle broke! I had to loosen the cover then I could pull the end of the cable to release it!

try getting someone to sit on it then pull the leaver and then get the person out then try again ,you just might have something stuck under the seat.

Yep mine was stuck folded...I found a plastic washer was under the carpet by the catch - suppose this could happen stuck upright too.
