A little help,

Just had the VCU replaced on my mr's freelander now when she gets to 50ish there feels to be a vibration from under the car.

Had the propshaft balanced last week but still the same!!!!!!

Anyone got any ideas please:confused:

could be a driveshaft is bent, or a worn inner cv joint.

Are the vcu support bearings exactly at 90 degrees to the centre line of the vcu?

Glad ive seen this post as im having exactly the same problem. ive had new tyres fitted and balanced with a new vcu and prop bearings.
Im thinking of taking it to a main dealer to get checked out as ive heard they line the prop up with a laser.

Blokey, just had my car back in the garage and they said its the vcu he replaced , hes had two bad ones in 2 days. Ive now got a new one on and all the vibration is gone runs really well again. Hope this helps you.
