Hi Guys,
Just joined, also just purchased my first freelander serengeti a couple of weeks ago (03) 1.8, 87000k on the clock, lovely motor, really pleased.
Havin a few teething problems tho (after doing a bit of landy learning!)

first prob- how to remove rear hub, got a wheel stud sheared off, and cant replace new one without removing hub, cant get it off-need a puller? or is it connected to drive shaft? removed drum and hub nut no problem.

second prob- usual VCU suspect seizing (i believe quite common) dragging in reverse full lock, cant really afford new unit as yet, so whats involved in disconnection of prop shaft and making 2 wheel drive? and is this really a feasible option? trying to save drive train before it fails.
Not a permanent option tho, just spent all money on getting car!

any help or direction greatly appreciated

thanks
Matt
