hi people well ive gone and got rid of the rubber donut, pop the pinion out and revealed a bolt 15mm head not a 24mm nut.

My problem is the bolt head is starting to round off.

i think ive done everything possible to bujj it a little bit of heat
putting a jack underneath it etc. no luck.

my only option left i think has head is rounded is to cut it off somehow
has anyone out there ever done this ??????

thanks people

either try undoing it with a large hammer and chisel on one of the corners
or get a large nut so you can weld inside the hole to weld it onto the head of the bolt... getting it as hot as possible will help free the bolt
or drill down the centre of the head.... deep for a stud extractor.... or big and shallow to remove the head from the bolt and hope you can grip the remaining stud later after everything else is off.
