Had a quick look but can't see anything obvious on any other threads...

Noticed that the rear electric windows aren't working on Yogi, my 1998 D1 ES. Checked the fuse and it's blown, so I changed it for another 30 amp fuse, which promptly blew as soon as I turned the ignition on.

Had a quick look at the wiring (without stripping anything) and can't see anything obvious.

Any pointers as to where to start?

Thanks

If it blows as soon as you turn on, there must be a good short somewhere, rather than a stuck motor. Prise the centre console switch panel off and have a look around there to make sure the feed to the switch isn't shorting to ground (though without a circuit diagram to hand, I'm not sure if the switch is in the feed or the return!).

Thanks for the replies. Just need to wait for it to warm up and I'll take a look.

Don't use the rear windows much and it's too cold outside to start taking bits apart!

I'll have a look when its a bit warmer and let you know how I get on
