rear door lock

hi all need some help was very frostie this morn opened car on the fob went to open rear door but frozen so went to get some warm water to defrost tried to open but now wont open the window drops but the electric sound you get when you operate the button is not there as my rear motor gone looks like i may have overloaded it any help please many thanks dawn ps when i hold the rear handle i can hear a clicking from the front of the car

You should know better than trying to open the tailgate on a frosty morning .

yes i no just manged to fix it must have been loose wire inside the door manged to put a wire coat hanger between where the glass goes up and down wiggled some wires and now working

Another coat hanger saves the day .

yep sure did wonder how many more people could have fixed there door this way
