Well I decided to try and have matching door locks on my 1987 90, so bought some new barrels and thought I would start with the rear door. So, easy enough to take off. Then look for the little plunger and wiggle the key, as per searches I made. Couldn't see a plunger. I know thought I, let's take it apart. Two little screw out and then....oops! Where does that little spring go?
I have all the internals, but can't quite make out how the little spring attaches or how the larger ones locate. There is also the catch that flicks right over although I guess this is held in place when it goes back together.
Has anyone got any photos of how it should look, please? I still haven't got the barrel out but need the door back on.
