Rear door lock barrel HELP!

Had an issue with the rear lock on TD5 90 where it refused to open and jammed on striker. Have replaced striker plate and lock and removed lock barrel from old lock and inserted into new lock. Door shuts and opens no problem, but will not lock on the key or central locking. Key turns in lock.
Have had barrel out several times but cannot see anything obvious.
