Hi Guys

Is it easy to remove the plastic interior lining on the freelander, mines all scuffed and someone has given me some plastic spray paint and obviously I would rather do it off the car, does it effect the window mechanism if you remove the plastic cover? Thanks all.

Very easy to do and does not effect the window mec. I guess you are talking about the Boot interior trim. I would just get a good secondhand one from a breakers yard. Try Jon Daunter on 01291 626212 in chepstow. I would not paint it as it would just scrape off and look worse. Just prise the trim off and i cant remember if there are a few screws there either. Also once off check the condition of the plastic sheet on the interior and your demister conections on the rear window.

Cheers for that, I was just a bit concerned that if I took the trim off the whole rear window would fall out - you know what they are like!!! I have got some proper plastic bumper and trim spray paint so I'll give it a go with that first if it works great, if it doesn't I've lost nowt cos the trim is badly marked anyway. If it works I'll post details of the product on here, if not I'll go down the route you suggest.
