Hi, I have dented the nearside rear sill of my Freelander 1 TD4, it is a 5 door pre facelift. The damage is being repaired by a local body shop because the weather makes it impossible for me to attempt it. My problem is that that the black plastic sill end cap (a continuation of the rear wheel arch) part number DFK500110PMA is damaged and so is the sill finisher (the long black plastic strip that runs along the bottom of the sill) part number DDJ000090PMA. I have tried to find these parts online but they are either outrageously expensive as new parts or not available from the breakers sites. I am posting this on the off chance that someone has these available on a scrap vehicle. Please let me know if you can help?

Hi,

DFK500110PMA can be found at less than 70 bucks in new at some online retailers. You should give it a try.

For the under-body finisher DDJ000090PMA, it will shape the under-body deformation ... it will need a lot of persuasion to fit one.
